Words including: father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, school and classroom. 3) Split the word “Classroom” into “Class” and “Room” and let students guess the meaning of room. Step 2: Presentation Show a picture of a living room and teach the new word: living room. Then teacher will teach the other new words in the same way. After teaching the new words, students will be listened to the tape in lets learn part and imitate the pure pronunciation and intonation. Step 3: Practice 1) Clap and stamp. Teacher will play a game “Clap and Stamp” to consolidate the new words. For example: If the teacher points at “living room”, students should “read” the word twice; if the teacher points at “little hand”, students should clap twice; if the teacher points at the “foot” sign, students should stamp twice. 2) Listen and number. Teacher will play a video twice and students should number what they have heard. Step 4: Production 1) Individual display. Let students introduce their own home. Step 5: Summary and homework Teacher leads students to summarize what they have learned in this class. Homework: Introduce your home to your friends. 5.
