    30、“In other words” “For example/instance”。 (2)同义转述。 同义转述是指用不同的方式表达同一种含义。在听力中,同义转述的使用 可以增加题目的灵活性,当某些关键词难以理解时,我们可以根据同义转述 做出判断。 W: Did you hear that Mike had been dismissed by his boss? M: Dismissed?He was fired again! I cant believe it. 上面“He was fired again.”就是对“dismissed”的同义转述。 在听力考试中,句子重音可以帮助考生找到关键词,正确理解所听的内容。 一般情况下,在不需要特别强调或对比某些内容时,句子的重音通常落在最后 一个出现的实词上。例如:The course was more difficult than she had expected, but she got a lot out of it.这个课程比她想象的难多了,但她从中学会了很多东 西。 在这个句子中,只要听到重读的词或词组course、 more difficult、 expected、 got、 lot、 out,就不难正确理解句意。
