Unit 5 Being Helpful The Third Period 教学目标教学目标 语言知识目标 1.能正确朗读课文并进行表演。 2.能够正确区分文中的两种时态,现在进行时与将来时。 语言技能目标: 1.能够根据图片、词句的提示,背诵课文。 2.培养学生阅读的习惯。 情感态度目标: 1.通过学习,了解到答应别人的事情要及时做,不能拖拉。 2.要学会帮助别人。 3.学会帮助父母做一些力所能及的家务事。 教学重点: 1.区分现在进行时与将来时,了解这两种时态的特点。 2.能理解课文大意,能够准确朗读并表演课文。 教学难点: 能进行简单的英文写作。 教学过程: Step1:Warming up 1.出示课题,要求学生跟读。 2.Free talk 1)T:When we were young, our parents fed us. When we are ill, our parents look after us. Everyday we go home, our parents cool dinner for us. But what can you do for your parents? 引导学生用 I can 回答。先让个别学生回答,再让学生同 桌互说。 2)Good! You are a good helper for your mother and father. Step2:Presentation 1.创设情景,进入新课。 T :What about Tony and Jenny? 出示一张房间凌乱的照片, T:The living room is messy. Who will clean it? 2.播放课文视频,学生听。 3.听后,回答问题。 1)Did Tony and Jenny clean up the living room? Who cleaned it? 学生回答。 4.T: When mom and dad ask Jenny and Tony do the housework, what did Jenny and Tony say? 学生在文中分别找出 Jenny 和 Tony 的语句。 1)学生汇报所找到的句子,教师出示。 2)教学“later” 。 3)读句子。 5.T:What about Gogo?找出文中写 Gogo 的句子。 1)学生汇报所找到的句子,教师出示。 2)指导朗读,注意 hanging 与 putting 的读法。 6.指导学生这两组句子中的两个时态,现在进行时和将来 时。 7.情感教育。答应别人的事情要及时完成不要拖拉。 8.Follow the video to read the story. 跟视频读课文。 Step3:Practice 1.Read the story by yourself,and then finish the practice1.自读课文,完成 T/F 练习。 2.Read the story again, and then answer the questions.再次阅读文本,回答问题。 3.Read the story together. 4.Show the picture.根据图片及提示,试背课文。 5.检查学生的背诵情况。 6.Group work. 小组内分角色扮演课文。 Step4: Extension 1.Do you think Gogo is A.lazy or B.industrious? What about Tony and Jenny? 2.If you want to make your parents be happy, we can help your parents to do the housework. Step5:Writing 1.Mothers day is coming?
