Unit4 Free Time May I ? Step one: warming up: 1. T: Hello, boys and girls. Im your new teacher, Ms Wei. Nice to meet you. May I know your name? May I shake hands with you? May I be your friend? May I borrow your pen? May I sing a song with you? 2. Ss sing a song ”May I have a pen?” Step two: Revision: 1.T:What do you do in your free time? I go to the movie theater. Ss: I go to the park. One is the son, one is the worker there. 2. T: Look at the calendar. Whats the date today? What festival is it? 3.T: The son wants to do sth. for his mom. He talks with his dad. Lets listen and tick or cross. 4. Moral education: Too much ice cream is bad for the teeth. 5. Ss watch the phonics video ea/i:/ and chant. 6. T: The son wants do more for his mom. Ss look at the pictures and talk with partners in pairs. (T is dad ,S1 is son, as a model ) 7. Mom is happy. Moral education: I love you, Mom! Step four. Extension and product. 1. T:The son and his mom and dad are in the living room. What are they doing? Theyre watching TV. Look, the son is unhappy. Do you know why? Hes watching the program about the left-behind children. 2. Ss watch the video(Their father and mother dont live with them. They live with their grandparents. They have bad food, no KFC, no chocolate, no pizza. They wear poor clothes, no new dress, no new jacket. )What can we do for the kids? 3. (Model) Ss-T A: May I play the violin for the kids? T: Yes, please. B: May I sing a song for the kids? T: yes, you may. C: May I buy some apples for the kids? T: yes, please. 4. Ss discuss in group 5. Ss show their dialogue. 6. Ss read the model letter and finish their letters on the heart cards.(投影检查 4 组,剩余 4 组拿麦说) 7. Ss stick their heart cards on the Bb. 8. T: In the free time mom and dad will take the son to visit the left behind children and send our love to them. Moral education: we help others and well be happy.
