Yes, I am. / No, Im not. 2.技能目标 (1)学习和掌握两个新单词:beach, bus。 (2)能用 Where are you going?与 Are you going to.?句型询问及应答。 (3)能用简单的英文书写“Where are your friends going on Sunday?” 3.情感、策略、文化意识目标 (1)通过本课的学习,培养学生合作意识,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,调 查交流,小组合作培养学生学习英语,运用英语的能力。让学生明白在公共 场所要遵守一定的规则。 (2)通过拓展学习,进一步培养学生阅读能力,初步培养学生写作能力。 二、教学重难点 1.重点:能让学生在第一课时已有知识的基础上,学习两个新单词,并 熟练运用句型及单词。 2.难点:通过调查活动,让学生用所学的知识设计“Where are your friends going on Sunday?” 。 三、教学策略 1.教学方法:通过游戏引入,运用直观演示教学新单词,学生易懂易记, 采用小组合作交流调查法巩固和运用所学知识。 2.辅助手段:为了更好地完成本课教学目标,借助多媒体 PPT、动画、 调查表等。 3.准备材料:游戏道具、练习题、调查表(印发练习)材料。 4.预计达到效果:学生能熟练运用有关地点的单词和 Target 进行对话, 能用英语设计小短文“Where are your friends going on Sunday?” 。 四、教学过程 Step1. Warming- up and learning 1. Review some words. (1) Cutting Game. When the students see a word, they speak out the word and cut it. When they see a bomb, the say bomb. (2) Hide-and-seek. The students listen to a sound and guess where is Gogo hiding and learn two new words: beach and bus. 2. Leading-in. After learning the word “bus, the teacher asks the students: “Gogo is on the bus, where is he going? Lets watch the story together.” 【设计意图】:首先通过切水果游戏跟同学们复习 1-2 单元学过的单词,因为 这两个单元的单词也是跟地点,通过这一游戏活跃课堂气氛,让学生们集中精 力。然后通过捉迷藏游戏跟同学们复习 1-3 单元的单词,并引出新单词 “beach”和“bus”的学习。通过学习“bus”这一单词,引出 Gogo 在车上, 让同学们思考他要去哪里,借此引出这一单元的故事。这样引入既能激发学生 的求知欲望,引导学生进行思考,又能帮助学生理解本节课目标对话的内容。 Step2. Self-learning 1. Watch the video of the story on page 20. The students watch the story in earnest. 2. Listen to the story and judge. (1) Gogo is going to the beach. ( ) (2) The girls are going to the restaurant. ( ) (3) The little boy is going to the hospital. ( ) (4) The bus is going to the beach. ( ) 3. Watch and repeat after the video. The students watch the story and repeat after it, paying attention to the tones and pronunciation. 【设计意图】:首先通过看故事动画尽量给学生提供地道的原声英语,让学生 对故事有一个大概的了解。然后通过听和判断与故事有关的四个句子,引导学 生自主学习,自己思考,加深他们对故事的理解。最后通过跟读,让学生尽量 模仿人物的语音语调,为下面的小组合作表演作铺垫。 Step3. Learning the story 1. Play a passing game. The students play a passing game when the music begins, and when the music stops, the students who gets the cube should fill in the blanks according to the story. 2. Retell the story. The students try to retell the story according to the clues. 【设计意图】:通过传魔方游戏,让学生给故事填空,让他们在游戏中巩固第 一课时学习的 Where are you going? 和 Are you going to? 两个句型。然后通 过故事复述加深他们对故事理解和记忆。 Step4. Practice 1. Group work. The students read the story in groups and act out the story. Then the teacher asks two groups to perform in front of the class. 2. Look and answer. The students look at the pictures and answer the questions. 3. Guessing game The students guess where are my friends going and answer the questions. 4. Do a survey and write. First, the teacher asks two students to come out and make an example for the class. Then each student goes to ask four classmates and finishes the chart. After finishing the chart, the students should write a short passage according to their survey. After their writing, the teacher asks two students to read their short passage in front of the class. 【设计意图】:这一环节是练习环节。第一个练习是小组合作让学生把故事表 演出来。教师给 3-4 分钟时间给每个小组准备,每个小组的组长先带领组员齐 读故事,然后分配角色表演。学生准备后,教师请两个小组上来展示,展示结 束后请个别同学起来点评,然后教师根据他们的表现为这些小组加分。这一个 练习旨在巩固同学们对故事理解,并锻炼他们的表演能力和胆量。第二个练习 是看图并回答问题,第三个练习是根据遮住的图片猜教师的朋友要去哪里,这 两个练习都旨在巩固学生本单元学习的句型,加深他们对相关句型的理解。第 四个练习是做调查完成表格和根据自己的表格写一篇小短文。这一练习旨在让 学生运用句型开口询问和回答,锻炼他们的口语交际能力。最后学生把他们调 查表格以作文的形式展现出来,锻炼他们的写作能力和篇章组织能力。 Step5. Emotional teaching and concluding 1. Emotional teaching. We have review some of the public places today, and when we are in a public place, we should behave ourselves. 2. Concluding The whole class read the two new words: beach, bus; and sentence structures: Where are you going? I am going to the beach. / Are you going to the beach? Yes, I am. / No, Im not. 3. Homework (1)Listen to the tape and repeat P20. (2)Surf the net to get some rules about the public places. 4. Which group is the winner? 【设计意图】:首先,由上一环节复习了一些公共场所的地点,引出我们今天 的情感教育:当我们在公共场所时,要举止文明。然后总结我们今天学习的两 个新单词和复习的句型,全班齐读一次。最后是布置作业和总结这一节课胜出 的小组。 【板书设计】: Unit 3 Bank or Beach Where are you going? Yes, I am. / No, Im not. 【设计意图】 :这节课的板书设计包括两个部分:句型与评价。句型是教师从课文中提炼出 来的,是由教师提前板书在黑板上。这样可以让学生对本节课的句型一目了然。 评价:每次学生回答完教师的问题,教师都为那一组加一朵小花,最后小花最 多的那一组胜出。 【教学反思】:在这一节课中,学生很喜欢课文的对话内容,学得很开心,上 来表演的小组都有很大的进步,都比之前上课要大胆。本节课中有两个亮点:1. 刚开始的复习部分采用切水果游戏和捉迷藏游戏,很好的调动了学生了的积极 性。2. 不同于三年级的教学,我注重培养学生对课文的理解,采用了类似阅读 课的教学方法,学生能接受。但是这一节课也有不足的地方:1.小组表演完后 教师评价不够明显,很多同学听不懂教师全英的评价。因此,这一点需要在以 后的教学中改进;2.最后一个写短文的练习,因为没有投影的关系,学生只能 上讲台读,而下面有大部分同学都没有认真听,这一练习的效果不是很好。 G1G2G3G4Unit 3 Bank or Beach Story Where is Gogo?
