Draw My family tree.北京版小学英语五年级下册 Unit 5 Whos that baby boy? 一、教学背景分析: 教学内容: 本单元围绕谈论自己或他人的家人展开,涉及家庭中的各种关系,是一个 与学生生或密切相关的话题。基于学生在生活中的实际情况设置了三个主要的 语言学习情景。Lesson 15 两幅图是一个连续的情景。Yangyang 来到 Sara 家, 看到墙上的照片,询问 Sara 照片中的人物。Sara 向 Yangyang 介绍了自己的表 哥和表哥的一家人。在谈论中涉及了一个人比另一个人大几岁的年龄表达方式。 Lesson 16 的故事情节延续 Lesson 15 的第一幅图 Sara 继续向 Yangyang 展示自 己的家庭照片,介绍照片中的侄女和侄子。到此为止一共介绍了 Sara 家的三幅 照片。Lesson 15 的两幅图和 Lesson 16 的第一幅图联系紧密。在讲课的过程中 我将对本单元进行整合。把这三幅图放在一节课进行讲解,并将此课命名为 “Saras family” 。 学生情况:学生情况: 本节课的授课对象是五年级学生。他们对英语有着浓厚的兴趣。他们具备 了大胆、自信、敢开口说英语的好习惯,善于表达并能积极参与英语的学习。 学生在一年级下册第五单元 Whos he? 就已经接触了句型 Whos that woman? Whos this girl? Whos that boy? 以及家庭成员的单词 uncle ,aunt , grandma , sister, cousin 等。所有本课的语言知识对于学生来说不是难点,难点 是能够正确表达家庭中的人物关系。 二、教学准备: 自制 PPT、多媒体课件、故事人物及奖励贴画、电脑。 三、教学目标: 1.能够听懂并朗读 listen and say 中的对话内容。 2. 能够运用“.is years older than .”的句型就家人或者他人的年龄信息 进行交流。能够正确运用句型 Whos ? He/ She is . 3. 能听懂、认读有关家庭成员的词汇 cousin, son, aunt , niece, nephew 等, 并能在实际情景中运用。 4.能对家庭中的人物关系有系统的了解,并在谈论自己或他人的家人中体验 亲情。 四、教学重难点: 1.教学重点: (1)能够运用“.is years older than .”的句型就家人或者他人的年龄信 息进行交流。 (2)能够正确理解和运用词汇:aunt ,son, cousin, niece, nephew 等表示亲 属之间的关系。 2.教学难点: (1)正确理解 He looks much older than you. I have a happy family. I have a brother . He has a son . Its my nephew. How about you? How many people are there in your family? Who are they? Do you have brother? Do you have cousins? 【设计意图】活跃课堂气氛,激发学生兴趣。 Step 2: Listen and say 学习对话 (1)出示图 1. T:Yangyang and Sara are talking about family. Whose family are they talking about ? Can you guess? What do you see on the wall?学生尝试猜一猜。 【设计意图】激发学生好奇心。 (2)呈现对话课件。 播放完整录音。验证学生答案。补全课题 Saras family T: Yes , Saras family. They are talking about photos. How many photos are they talking about? 【设计意图】聚焦三幅 Sara 的家庭照片。 (3)出示照片 1 谈论照片 1 T: Look, whos this man on the horse? 播放第一幅图无文字课件。学生回答问题。 T: Whos this man on the horse? Ss: Hes Saras cousin, Tom. 【设计意图】播放无文字课件,让学生带着问题去听,聚焦对话中的重点 信息。 T: Whose son is Tom? 播放 Sara 的录音,学生尝试回答。然后再呈现文字。 Ss: Hes the son of Aunt Mary. T: Who is Aunt Mary? 播放录音 my mothers sister. 学生尝试回答,然后呈 现文字。 T: Tom looks much older than Sara . T: Can you guess how old Sara is? T: How old is Tom? How do you know? T: How old is Tom older than Sara is? 播放 Sara 的录音,学生尝试回答,再 出现文字。 Ss: He is eighteen years older than Sara is. T:Sara is 11 years old. Tom is eighteen years older than Sara is. How old is Tom? (板贴 wife) T: How many kids does Tom have? 学生先尝试表达,然后听录音,出示文字, 验证答案。He has two lovely kids.跟录音朗读。 T: What are their name? Whats the girls name? Whats the babys name? Ss: Sally and Jack. (6)小组分角色朗读对话,展示对话。可以选择不同程度的方式进行展示。可 以展示完整的三幅图,也可以选择其中的一幅图。 【设计意图】 Step 3:Introduce Saras family. (1)完成 Read and write 练习题。 【设计意图】培养学生总结归纳的能力。 (2)Talk about Saras family in group. (3)可以选择不同的照片进行介绍。 Step 4:Talk more about Saras family. 完善家庭树,补全 Sara 的家庭成员。教师出示人物头像,猜一猜是谁, 让学生尝试把人物板贴在正确的位置。 T:Look, who is he ? Ss: Grandpa T: Where can I put it? Who can help me? T: How old is he? 出示 grandpa 的句子,I am fifty years older than Sara is. How old am I ? 学生尝试去算一算爷爷的年龄。 Step 5:Draw my own family tree. 完成自己的家庭树。 (如果课上没有时间完成,就把此项作为家庭作业。 )
