Review the sentence: How is the weather ? 3. Enjoy a song:How is the weather ? 4. Help students to understand the song,and then show the title:Unit 6 Weather Part B Step 2 Presentation 1. Teacher says: “The weather may changes very quickly in a day.It may be sunny in the morning and it may be rainy in the evening.Our friend Julia is talking about the weather with her mother now. Now lets watch the vedio and find out what they are talking about.And please try to answer these two questions.” 2. Show the questions: (1)How is the weather today in the morning? (2)How is the weather today in the afternoon? 3. Watch the vedio and then answer the questions. 4. Teacher says: “Weather is quite different in a day.We know that China is a big and beautiful country.(美丽大国) Every year many foreigners travel (旅行)around China.The weather is quite different(差异大) in every city.It is important to know about the weather(了解天气) in China.” 5. Show the task: Help my friend! Teacher says: “I have a friend who is a foreigner.His name is Alex.He comes to China (中国) to travel.(旅行) But he doesnt know about the weather(不了解天气) in China.Can you help(帮助) him ?” 6. Guess the places and learn the new words: (1)Guangzhou: sunny Read and spell Do the action Answer the question (2)Xian : cloudy Read and spell Do the action Answer the question (3)Lhasa : windy Read and spell Do the action Answer the question (4)Beijing :snowy Read and spell Do the action Answer the question (5)Shanghai :rainy Read and spell Do the action Answer the question Attention: It is raining heavily. = It is raining cats and dogs. Phrase: Take an umbrella with you. (Talk on wechat with Alex) 7. Challenge: Challenge 1: review the actions: The teacher does the actions and the students have a guess. The teacher says the words and the students do the actions. Challenge 2:Quick response: Review the words.Cover the pictures and have a guess of the Meaning. Challenge 3: Review the words: Challenge 4: Review the sentences: Read the sentences that you see as quickly as possible. Step 3 Extension 1. Make a weather report to Alex. Act like a weather reporter and make a report in front of the class. Step 4 Consolidation 1.Sing a song together. How is the weather? How is the weather? Its sunny . Its sunny. 2.Emotional education The earth is becoming warmer and warmer because of damage to the environment.We live on the earth so it is our duty to protect the environment.Lets protect it from now on.
