1、Unit 3 Animal World第三课时绵阳市青义小学 杜晓娟一、教材分析新起点英语高年级教材强调帮助学生树立进一步学好英语的自信心和综合语言运用能力的进一步发展,为升入中学继续学好英语奠定基础。本课是人教版新起点英语六年级上册第3单元第3课内容。通过学习、讨论大象的特征,从而过渡到其他动物的描述中。二、学生分析授课班级为我校六年级学生。经过五年多的英语学习,学生已有一定的英语基础,具备讨论交流的能力。但学生英语语言组织能力还有待进一步提高,缺乏综合运用语言谈论所学话题的能力,需在教师的引领下突破这难点。三、教学目标1、知识目标( 1)能够听懂、会说 mammals,truck,tusk
2、,Africa ,Asia等单词,掌握其读音及意义。(2)能够听懂、会说用来询问动物类别及其特征的功能句:What animals do you like? What kind of animals are elephants?What do elephants eat? What do elephants look like?Where do elephants live? What can elephants do?掌握以上功能句的意思,能够初步运用以上功能句型对动物习性、特征等进行简单的描述。2、能力目标:(1)、能够使用本单元所学的句型,谈论自己所喜欢的动物及他们的类型。(2)、能够简
