    1、Unit 2.What Do You Want to Be?教学设计 教材分析: 本课主要讨论未来想从事的职业。重点学习句型和单词 pilot, plane, engineer,spaceship 及 What do you want to be? 通过学生感知、体验、参与和合作培养学生交际能 力、口语表达能力和朗读能力,营造和谐、民主的课堂氛围, 激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生的合作意识和主动参与 的精神。 学情分析: 对于学生来说,本课的单词句子属初次接触,五年级的 小学生对英语学习的兴趣已没有三、四年级那么浓,枯燥无 味的操练对于他们来说效果并不好,他们喜欢运用多种有趣 的形式和方法来

    2、学习英语,所以本课应注意从学生的实际情 况出发,采用多种趣味操练的方法让他们乐学。 教学目标: 1、运用图片、录音创设情境,能听懂、会说本课的对 话。 2、能自由讨论未来想从事的职业。 3、能掌握重点句型和单词 pilot, plane, engineer, spaceship 及 What do you want to be? 4、通过学生感知、体验、参与和合作培养学生交际能 力、口语表达能力和朗读能力。 教学重点: 能听说认读重点句型和单词 pilot, plane, engineer, spaceship 及 What do you want to be?及回答 教学难点: 在实践中熟练

    3、区分运用 What do you want to be? 和 What do you want to do? 表演课文对话。 教学准备: 课件图片及单词卡、录音磁带。 教学过程: Step 1、 Warming up 1、Greeting T: Hello, boys and girls. Ss: Hello! T: How is it going? Ss: Just great. 2、Rrevision and Leading up T: Now please answer my questions: What do you usually do after school? S1: I us

    4、ually watch TV. S2: I usually do my homework. S3: I usually play football. S4: I usually practice the violin. T: Do you want to know what I usually do after school? Ss: Yes. T: I usually learn English and read books. Because I am a teacher. I like teaching. I want to get a lot of knowledge from book

    5、s. Do you want to be a teacher? Ss: Yes, I do./No, I dont. T: What do you want to be when you grow up? This is todays new lesson.Today were going to learn Lesson TwoWhat Do You Want to Be? Step2 New teaching 1、Look at the pictures and guesswhat the lesson is about T: Please open your books to Page15

    6、.First, look at the pictures at page 15 and answer me some questions. Who are they?(-Theyre Sandy,Dongdong,Jane and Tino. What are these?(-It,s a pilot./ a spaceships./a computer.) Guess “what are they talk about?” 2、Listen and answer the questions. T:lets listen to the tape with the five questions

Did Tino think about his job? 3、Answer and learn the new knowledges pilot/fly /planes/ T: What does Dongdong want to be? S: He wants to be a pilot. T: What does Dongdong

    8、want to do? S: He wants to fly planes. T: Look! The boy is a pilot.Hes very happy. Because he can fly planes. Look, this is a plane. EXCERSIZE: Now follow me “plane”. Ss: “plane” T: Spell it together. Ss: P-L-A-N-E, plane. Study “ fly planes” T: Can you fly planes? S1; No, I cant. S2: No, I cant. S3

    13、you want to be? 2、活动目的:通过问答的活动让学生练习表达自己理想 的职业和工作,统计出学生未来最喜欢的职业。 3、 活动教具: 有关职业词汇的图片 (doctor, cook, nurse, teacher, pilot, engineer, sportsman, policeman) 4、活动方法: (1)教师向学生展示有关职业的图片,让学生说出这些 职业的名称。 (2)教师让学生看卡片回单问题。 T:What is he? Ss:Hes a doctor. T:What is she? Ss:Shes a teacher. (3)教师和每组的一名学生展开问答练习,了解他的

    14、理 想职业,之后让这名同学做记录员,在每组同桌进行理想职 业问答时,记录员在记录单上记下在被选择的职业数量。 T:Sally, what do you want to be? Ss:I want to be a cook. T:What do you want to do? Ss:I want to cook delicious food. T:Thats fantastic.
