1、The tortoise and the hare 教学设计 教学内容及学情分析: 本课是冀教版三年级起点五年级下册的补充阅读材料, 是大家耳熟能详的寓 言故事。 学生对故事的汉语内容理解上不成问题, 但是用英语讲述故事还未尝试。 所以本节课教学重点定在了复述本故事。目前学生还未学习一般过去时态的用 法, 而一般过去时态是五年级下学期的学生应该掌握的重点时态。本课通篇用一 般过去时叙述故事,个别关键词汇需要在文本中重点处理。 教学目标: 1 能听懂、会说、认读 tortoise, hare, 并在图片的帮助下,理解其确切意思,并 听懂故事。 2 能知道可以借助图片及关键词来简单复述故事,并在老
2、师和小组成员的帮助 下,用 first,then,at last 将故事连贯起来。 3 能在文本中理解 laugh,hurry, thought, win 的词义。在理解故事的基础上能明 白故事所表达虚心使人进步,骄傲使人落后的道理。 4 能通过模仿,观察图片的方式体会人物的情绪情感。 教学重难点:简单的复述故事。 教学过程: 1 Lead-in: guessing game: What animal is it?: 2 Pre-reading: Ask the question: Do you know this story?
